August 12, 2005Swedish death/thrash metallers DEFLESHED have cancelled their appearance at the Up From The Ground festival, set to be held August 26-27 in Gemünden/Steinwiesen, Germany. "Due to a promotor/band misunderstanding, it is clear we cannot go for the show," the band write on their web site. "We are very sorry to announce this, but hope to catch you up later in October as some European shows are in being planned as we speak."
DEFLESHED recently shot a video for the track "Grind and Rewind" from their latest album, "Reclaim the Beat".
The follow-up to 2002's "Royal Straight Flesh", "Reclaim the Beat" was recorded at Dug-Out Studios in Uppsala, Sweden and contains 12 songs plus a "slightly demolished" cover version of MÖTLEY CRÜE's "Red Hot".
